With the upward trend of COVID-19 cases in Gallatin County, the Library has shifted its services so that our community can continue to enjoy reading, learning, and connecting while staying distanced. The amazing staff here have put together virtual programming with online storytimes, book clubs, and great speakers. They’ve quickly configured free internet connection and laptop packages for checkout (see more below on hotspots). They have created adult craft bags, teen project bags, and children’s activity bags that are ready for distribution. And they have ramped up curbside and telephone services so that patrons like you can continue to get the information, materials, books, music, and movies they need during this time of restricted gathering.
We know everyone is feeling weary and anxious, and while we can’t solve the pandemic, we CAN be a source of support and even joy right now. Need an escape novel? We’ve got shelves of them! Need a book recommendation or timely information? Call a Librarian! Need a laptop and wi-fi connection? There’s a bunch ready to reserve! Want a movie to transport you outside your four walls? You’re covered here at the Library!
You can log on to the Library website anytime to place a hold on material, and you’ll receive an email when it’s ready to be picked up. Or give a call to speak with someone directly at 406-582-2410 during staffed hours Tuesday – Friday, 10-6 PM and Saturday, 10 AM-2 PM. And with returns now open 24/7 it’s easy to come back again and again for everything you need. Our community Library is more important now than ever, and we are here for you. Let your friends and family know that the resources they want are right here, for FREE, and ready to be enjoyed. Stay in the know on the Library During Coronavirus page.
