The 2nd annual Bozeman Teen Book Fest will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2020 and we are thrilled to welcome acclaimed young adult authors Tiffany D. Jackson and Jeff Zentner.
The Teen Book Fest is a day devoted to teen readers (or teens at heart!). Our visiting authors will give presentations, sign books, and participate in a Q & A session with attendees. We will also announce the winners of the Teen Writing Contest.
“This is an amazing opportunity for aspiring teen writers to meet professionals in this field and to hear real-world stories of how to pursue this career path,” said Kate Holloway, BPL Teen Librarian.
Events are scheduled at:
- Bozeman High School’s Berg Library 4th period, 11:15 am – 12:05 pm and 5th period, 12:55 pm – 1:45 pm
- Bozeman Public Library 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
The Bozeman Teen Book Fest is just one of the many programs offered by the Bozeman Public Library that appeals to the unique needs and interests of teens. We provide a dedicated section of the Library to teen books and other materials, as well as an expert Librarian who can match the right book to the right teen.
“Cultivating a space in the library that teens can activate and own sends a strong signal they are valued and welcome,” says Holloway.
The Bozeman Teen Book Fest is made possible by the Marcia Anderson Endowment for Teen Programs.
