The Bozeman Public Library’s 11th Annual Children’s Festival of the Book returns Saturday, November 10, 2018 with New York Times bestselling author Tracey Baptiste, 2018 Caldecott Medalist author-illustrator Matthew Cordell, award-winning author Janet Fox, and acclaimed author-illustrator Edward Hemingway.
This popular community event is a one-day festival designed to promote childhood literacy. “We want every child to learn to love books and reading,” said Cindy Christin, Department Head of Children’s Services.
The Bozeman Library Foundation funds early learning programs that support what may be the first Library experiences for young children and their families and can launch a lifelong passion for reading.
Children’s Festival of the Book is made possible by our generous sponsors: Humanities Montana, Wells Fargo, Gilhousen Family Foundation, Quilting in the Country, Anonymous individual, Country Bookshelf, and Zoot Enterprises with support from Magpie Guesthouse, Yellow House LLC and MSU – Dept. of Education (student volunteers).
